What are we doing?
Only about 70 miles from the U.S. border, Ensenada Mexico is home to a high population of poor families who have moved into the area for hope of a better life. Many of the these families have migrated from Southern Mexico to work in the agricultural fields. They often work 12-14 hours for about $8 a day.
Those who migrate to the area have no solid home to live in.
Most of the homes are built out of plywood on a dirt floor, with no
insulation, and with roofs that leak whenever it rains. This greatly affects
the health and well-being of the children, as they can get many sicknesses
and diseases from the dirt and mud floor within their own home.
The goal of our trip will be to sponsor a family and provide them a
new home. We will give them a cement floor, insulated walls, a solid
roof, a water tank, and even solar panels so they will have access to
electricity that they won’t have to pay for.

Our goal is to build 2 houses for families in need. We must raise $24,000 which will cover costs for the structure, bedding, water tank, stove and solar panel system.
Raising this money is our first priority, but we will also be able to take things like sports equipment, school supplies, first aid kits, blankets, and most importantly
We are excited because we know God will do big things in the lives of our students when they get out of their Orange County comfort zone to serve others.
This trip has power to change lives forever, and we need your help to make it happen.
